About Me

Capturing life through my lens

My name is Kate, and my superpower? Well, I make people immortal, and I make everyday moments memorable. Walkthrough the city? Shopping? Going to the park? Staying at home? All of the “everydayness” things can be pictured beautifully because, at the end of the day, life is made of such small but important moments. Big emotions don’t happen every day. But when they do, I can capture them, too.

Don’t wait for a big event to have your photos taken by a photographer. Celebrate your life and your existence by having beautiful pictures that remind you that life is beautiful. You see, that’s what my photos do.

Once, my photojournalism professor at the University of Montana told me that I have the ability to see ordinary things in extraordinary ways. I think that was the biggest compliment I have received as a photographer.

"You see the ordinary things in the extraordinary way"

—Keith Graham, My photography professor-

Which brings me to my education. I studied photography at two different schools- The University of Montana where I have been focused on documentary-style more than anything else, and FAMU (one of the top 10 schools in the whole world) where photography was taught as the art. I was lucky to be introduced to old photography techniques, so I do see photography as a process of painting with the light.

By now, I have had 4 international solo exhibitions of my work, and many collective exhibitions, too. My work has been published more than once, and my photographs were winning contents.

I came here to share my sense of view with you. Please feel free to explore my galleries, get inspired, and share. I also have an Instagram page, so let's get in touch.
